Among many dead in these last 60 hours in Bombay are these men in particular. I'm trying to get the names of any others to add here that I have ignored. (Please let me know if you have them, or if I've undercounted).

Thanks csm. I got a few more names, including Shashank Shinde, from Lokasatta. And B Durgunde from Abodh's StrayingAround, as you suggest. (I'm trying to find a first name).

csm, thanks! (Especially for Sadanand Date). I had heard some of those names yesterday (Bhosale, Pawar, Chaudhary), but I hadn't yet found confirmation.

I've changed the language of the post a bit as a result. Thing is, we now have 19 security people dead. Yet 16 was the number I heard the last few days. I imagine this kind of count takes a while to establish correctly.
